Equinox announces Equinox Open Source Grant


Duluth, Ga., June 17, 2019: Equinox is honored to announce its first in-kind grant, the Equinox Open Source Grant. The program provides hosting and support of Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide, to successful grantees.

The first cycle of the grant will begin accepting applications August 26, 2019. The program is designed to provide access to a modern, online library catalog to non-profit and governmental organizations that possess a library but do not have the financial and technological resources to contract for commercial services.

The University of Bridgeport Library Goes Live on ByWater Solutions Koha Support


ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, announced today that the Wahlstrom Library at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, is now live on Koha with ByWater Solutions! ByWater completed the transition of the library’s 168,000 plus holdings from Voyager ILS and is providing ongoing support services to the library. Equinox and Above the Treeline Announce Koha Integration with Edelweiss+Analytics


Duluth, Ga., November 6, 2018: As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting public libraries, Above the Treeline and the Equinox Open Library Initiative are excited to announce a tool which facilitates export of data from Koha into Edelweiss, allowing for detailed collection analysis. Libraries who use Koha will be able to easily configure scheduled data exports from their Koha ILS into Edelweiss+Analytics.
