Equinox migrates John Brown University Library to Koha

Duluth, Ga., September 10, 2019: Equinox is pleased to announce the successful migration of John Brown University Library to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide.

Their migration involved 118,761 bibliographic records and 1,855 patrons at the university. Equinox provided implementation and data services in addition to Koha support, hosting, and auxiliary services. Training for Koha was also provided as part of the migration by Equinox.

Applications Open for Equinox Open Source Grant

Duluth, Ga., August 26, 2019: Equinox is honored to begin accepting applications for the Equinox Open Source Grant. Successful applicants will receive hosting and support for Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide.

The first cycle of the grant opens August 26, 2019. The deadline for applications is November 1, 2019. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application by December 20, 2019.

Equinox migrates Carleton University’s Audio Visual Collection to Koha

Duluth, Ga., August 21, 2019: Equinox is pleased to announce the successful migration of Carleton University’s Audio Visual Collection to Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide.

Their migration involved 14,633 bibliographic records and 134 patrons at the college. Equinox provided implementation and data services in addition to Koha support, hosting, and auxiliary services.

Equinox announces Equinox Open Source Grant

Duluth, Ga., June 17, 2019: Equinox is honored to announce its first in-kind grant, the Equinox Open Source Grant. The program provides hosting and support of Koha, the first open source Integrated Library System to be used worldwide, to successful grantees.

The first cycle of the grant will begin accepting applications August 26, 2019. The program is designed to provide access to a modern, online library catalog to non-profit and governmental organizations that possess a library but do not have the financial and technological resources to contract for commercial services.
