Brill, the international scholarly publisher, launches its new broad open access journal in the field of international law.

Following an earlier announcement Brill is now proud to open Brill Open Law – An International Journal for submissions (www.brill.com/bol). Brill Open Law is meant to be a broad dedicated publication platform for papers from all branches in the field of international law. The scope of the journal includes areas like human rights and humanitarian law, private international law, and public international law.

Brill, the international scholarly publisher, announces a new suite of open access journals covering four major disciplines.

In the Brill Open program, Brill is now announcing the launch of four new full Open Access journals in the following disciplines: Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, and Biology. These journals will offer a pure open access environment. Each journal will be divided in sections that align with the major subject areas in the discipline.

IFLA and Brill are pleased to announce that Knowledge Unlatched (www.knowledgeunlatched.org), from the United Kingdom, has been selected as this year’s winner of the IFLA/Brill Open Access Award.

The IFLA/Brill Open Access Award was created in 2013 for initiatives in the area of open access monograph publishing. This year the jury unanimously has chosen Knowledge Unlatched (United Kingdom) as the most outstanding and game-changing initiative in the field.

EBSCO Information Services Joins OASPA
