Brill acquires Foreign Law Guide

Brill, the international scholarly publisher, is pleased to announce that it has acquired all publication rights to the Foreign Law Guide. As of today, the Foreign Law Guide will be published under the prestigious Martinus Nijhoff imprint out of Brill’s Boston office.

Brill and Semantico shortlisted for a British Media Award

Brill and Semantico have been shortlisted for a British Media Award based on the features and functionality of the new BrillOnline Reference Works platform. With the help of Semantico’s SIPP2 technology, Brill is now able to offer a more flexible research platform to institutions and end users alike.

Brill is now a participant in the Journal Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP)

Brill announces its participation in the Journal Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP*), a portal that provides a single point of access for usage statistics, meaning that each University can quickly and easily compare usage across various publishers, years and journals.

Brill is awarded the “Sheikh Zayed Book Award” for publishing excellence in Middle East and Islamic Studies

Abu Dhabi recognizes Brill’s extensive publishing program in Middle East and Islamic Studies with the “Sheikh Zayed Book Award” for publishing and distribution. The prize awards Brill with UAD 750,000, (appr. EUR 150,000) which will be used to both establish a fellowship and invest in innovative future publishing projects.
