Equinox Software Announces Sponsorship for Literary Lions Gala

Equinox Software is proud to announce a sponsorship for King County Library System Foundation’s annual Literary Lions Gala.
This year’s event welcomed over 500 guests and raised $208,000 to support literacy and lifelong learning programs. Bestselling author Lee Child served as key note speaker for the evening which also included a "State of the Library" report by Bill Ptacek and 11 sold out author salons.
Member Votes Finalize Amigos/MLNC Merger
Dallas, TX — Amigos Library Services announces that its members have voted to approve the merger of Amigos and the St. Louis-based Missouri Library Network Corporation (MLNC). The results of the vote were announced during the organization’s annual Amigos Member Business Meeting held May 9. The Amigos member vote follows a similar vote taken by MLNC members last month and paves the way for actions that will culminate in the formal uniting of the two organizations July 1, 2012.

Vermont Organization of Koha Automated Libraries Continues to Add Members
The Vermont Organization of Koha Automated Libraries (VOKAL), is a project of the Green Mountain Library Consortium dedicated to creating a shared catalog and Integrated Library System. The project took flight in late 2007 with the installation of 3 stand-alone Koha instances to replace the libraries' legacy Follett systems and another 4 libraries automating into Koha through 2009.

The Pioneer Consortium adds Papillion Public Library to LibLime Koha
North Bethesda, MD, April 26, 2012. The Sump Memorial Library in Papillion, Nebraska has joined the Pioneer consortium in using LibLime Koha for all collection and patron management services. The Sump Memorial Library staff worked with LibLime Project Managers to migrate bibliographic, item, and patron data from their legacy Follett ILS system.
