PROVO, Utah, December 9, 2013 – The Bridge Consortium (Northfield, MN), which consists of the Libraries at Carleton and St. Olaf Colleges, is collaborating with Backstage Library Works in database processing as part of the libraries’ initiative to update and maintain their joint catalog.
Equinox Announces J.R. Clarke Live on Evergreen

Backstage completes large-scale retrospective conversion project to benefit England’s new state-of-the-art Library of Birmingham
PROVO, Utah, October 4, 2013 – Backstage Library Works has completed a large-scale retrospective conversion project as part of the development of the new Library of Birmingham which opened on 3 September 2013, replacing the former Central Library. The Library of Birmingham is a new state-of-the-art community hub that houses unique and rare items and includes a new home for the Shakespeare Memorial Room. The new Library is the largest public library in Europe and is a flagship project in the Birmingham City Council’s redevelopment plans.
PROVO, Utah, November 27, 2013 — Backstage Library Works announced today a 30% growth rate in its cataloging support to the library community during 2013. Increasing need for cataloging and metadata services is seen across academic, public and special institutions. Requests are on the rise for cataloging of non-Roman materials as well as special formats, including CDs, DVDs and music scores.

Liblime, as a division of PTFS, will be showcasing library support services and ArchivalWare Digital Library System (DLS), a browser-based enterprise content management solution that manages both print and digital collections.

North Bethesda, MD, November 22, 2013- LibLime, a Division of PTFS, has been selected by an agency within the Department of Defense as the winning vendor to implement LibLime Academic Koha to manage their 400,000+ technical and research report collection. The agency has served the information needs of the Defense community for more than 65 years, and reports to the Assistant Secretary of Defense For Research and Engineering ASD(RE). Under the multi-year contract LibLime will provide implementation, support, and hosting services to the agency.
