PROVO, Utah, May 30, 2014 — Backstage Library Works (www.bslw.com), a leading provider of technical services to libraries and publishers around the world, announced today the reorganization of its bibliographic services division to reflect the department’s expanded focus of providing all types of metadata services.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) awarded $218,154 to BCR to support workshops on digital preservation developed specifically for leaders of collaborative digitization programs. Knowledge and expertise of digital preservation and the ability to develop and execute digital preservation programs is critical to ensure the long-term viability of the digital materials now being created by libraries and cultural heritage organizations.
