EBSCO Audiobooks now offers a new audiobook app for listening on the go, an expanded collection of titles, improved delivery systems and a new, easy-to-use design.

~ Readers’ Advisory Service Improves the Functionality to Make Finding Books and Audiobooks Easier ~

IPSWICH, Mass. — May 8, 2014 —NoveList® has expanded its readers’ advisory resources by including new tools for listeners’ advisory. NoveList, a division of EBSCO Information Services, will now offer audiobook recommendations through NoveList Plus®, and has also enhanced the user interfaces of all of its products.

An audiobook subscription collection geared toward adults and another geared toward children and young adults are now available from EBSCO. Audiobook Premier Collection has titles to meet research needs and provide content for leisure reading. The Audiobook Youth Collection includes primarily fiction titles. The subscription collections allow libraries to subscribe to a collection that has titles added regularly for no extra cost.

He will speak on “Portable Ereading: Prospects and Possibilities.” He will talk about the portable reading of ebooks and digital audiobooks and how they are transforming the way people read.
